Runway
Runway illustration

I designed Runway to be a part of the House Movements type collection that was released along with the House Industies monograph. The idea of that collection was to summarize the various typographic “movements” that House Industries had experienced in their first 10 years of business. Runway is an ode to House’s sans serif obsession of the early 2000s. The letterforms themselves were inspired by a classic sign in downtown Wilmington, Delaware.

The original Luther Towers sign.

Runway seems to be the most popular part of the House Movements collection. I get regular requests for more weights and widths. If you’d like to see that, head over to the contact page at houseindustries.com and let them know.
