When Brightcove launched their new logotype they wanted all of their product logos to be stylistically compatible with the new mark. Their product list was long and constantly growing and hand lettering all of them was going to be costly and time-consuming. To solve this, I designed a simple typeface that would function as a product logo making machine. All the Brightcove team had to do was typeset the product name and they were done. This significantly lowered the time and economic overhead for the marketing phase of product development and allowed iteration over product names with full branding early in the process.
